Statistics: Russia’s 2023 grain crop stands at 142.602 mln tns

MOSCOW, Dec 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s harvested 142.602 million tonnes of grain in net weight in 2023, a 9.5% contraction as compared with a record crop of 2022, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Monday quoting its first estimate.

The harvest of winter wheat decreased by 13.8% on the year to 63.797 million tonnes in 2023, and the harvest of spring wheat contracted by 4.1% to 28.975 million tonnes.
